Larry McClellan (Mr. McWiz show name) is a former middle school science and elementary teacher with a master’s degree from Indiana University and professional Florida teaching license. He has written a science book, McWizKid Science, contributed Discovery Labs to a college book, The Sciences, conducted teacher and parent workshops all over the country, performed many library science shows for hundreds of children and operated his own science studio, Mr. McWiz Science. Larry has taught hundreds of children the joys of “hands-on” science discovery in both Indiana and Florida. He has been featured in several newspaper articles for his contribution to teaching science in both the Tampa Bay Times and the Columbus Republic. He was nominated by parents in Columbus, Indiana, for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics and you can also find him on Angie’s List for testimonials by local parents in the Clearwater, Florida area where he presently lives and excites many children to the wonders of science all around them.
